Alexandra Bujor, MD, FACOG

Dr. Bujor offers an award-winning combination of skill, instincts, and compassion, that have made her one of the most sought after physicians to come out of the Stanford Residency Program.

Dr. Bujor was born in Bucurest, Romania and immigrated to this country with
her family in 1985. She attended the University of California, Riverside for a bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Sciences, graduating summa cum laude. She went to the UCLA School of Medicine for her medical degree and spent her residency at Stanford University Hospital where she earned awards for Special Excellence in Endoscopic Procedures and Excellence in Surgical Performance.

Dr. Bujor has been practicing in the South Bay since 2006. In her practice, Dr. Bujor sees a wide variety of obstetrics and gynecological cases and specializes in minimally invasive procedures, high risk obstetrics, hormone therapy, and antiaging therapies. Whether it is continuing medical education, training for
a new technique, or holding educational lectures for the community, Dr. Bujor practices medicine with the singular mission of providing the best possible care that is both contemporary and complete. Her skills, dedication, and drive to be the best has earned her the respect and admiration of her peers and superiors alike.

As a mom of two beautiful boys, Dr. Bujor understands the concerns patients have as they progress through their pregnancy. Thus, she takes that extra time to answer questions and settle some of the many issues that pregnancy can bring. One of her most important practice goals is to treat every patient like she would want her family treated.

Dr. Bujor spent 2 years as the Chief of the Department of OBGYN at Torrance Memorial Medical Center, where she implemented multiple protocols to help streamline care in Labor and Delivery. She currently heads the Cesarean Section Committee where she continually works to reduce the cesarean rate and other metrics within Torrance Memorial.

Dr. Bujor is Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She has also completed her Fellowship in American Academy of Antiaging Medicine and has started incorporating many of the learned modalities to delay and even reverse aging into her practice.

In her spare time, Dr. Bujor enjoys sports, being at the beach, dancing, movies, and hanging with her sons Lucian and Sebastian. She also has a special love for English bulldogs, and although two of her bullies crossed the Rainbow Bridge a few years back, she now has just one cute and mischievous English bulldog named Lola.
